What is RSS?
RSS is the abbreviation for Real Simple Syndication. RSS is a technology enabling you to download the news headlines of a website to your own computer without having to visit the website until you want the read the full story. Technically, an RSS feed is a file distributed by the website. It is this file which your RSS program downloads and reads. Many news websites are now offering RSS feeds.

If you do not already have an RSS news reader, a lot free news readers are available on the internet, for example at: www.feedreader.com
Instructions on feed reader:
When you have copied the link into one of the above two boxes, click on “file” in the menu bar and select “add file”. In the box “location of feed”, you now enter the link copied and click on “next”. Then you name the new feed and click on “finish”. In the window at the top right of your screen a list of all news headlines will be displayed. Click on the news you want to read, and a brief summary will appear in the window at the bottom right of your screen. If you want to read the full story, you click on “Read on”. The website with the full news will now be loaded into the window. .
