GXG Markets – history

In November 1998 Dansk Autoriseret Markedsplads A/S (Dansk AMP) was the first company in Denmark to be approved by the Danish Financial Supervisory Authority to operate an authorised marketplace.
The objective of Dansk AMP was to operate as a securities market especially adapted to small and medium-sized companies and private investors. In August 2010 Dansk AMP was acquired by Swedish based GXG Global Exchange Group AB. During December 2010 GXG Group’s robust electronic trading platform Tellus was implemented. The name of the company was also changed to GXG Markets to better illustrate the influence on new forward looking ownership and outlook into the European market.

GXG Markets has historically always had a close cooperation with Dansk O.T.C. Fondsmæglerselskab A/S, which has been trading in both listed and unlisted shares since 1987.
